Edinburgh Zoo GF provision.

Last time I visited the zoo there didnít seem to be much for me to eat. As a result I brought my own filled rolls on this family visit. However my son assured me that GF provision was much improved and he was right. In the Grasslands cafe, the main one there were several GF options on the menu, all quite tempting apart from the bean casserole which the non coeliac ordered and didnít like. I had GF chilli cheese and beef nachos and it was delicious, not cheap at just under £10 but filling and very tasty. I had no ill effects.
There is a smaller cafe for light bites and they had quite a few GF items including a nice mackerel rice salad type dish in a plastic tray so no CC. There were Cake bars and a GF brownie and some other items.
I didnít need my filled rolls much to my delight. Overall it was a good experience which will encourage me to visit again though off peak maybe instead. It was packed.
