That does count as ‘no obvious symptoms ‘ at diagnosis . Others have been found via screening or due to investigations for other things like osteoporosis. What I am looking for, is people who find it difficult to stick to the gluten free diet because they do not get gastric symptoms / pain etc fairly quickly after eating gluten . Existing research suggests lower levels of adhering to the gf diet for ‘silent’ coeliacs. However it also finds some of this group go the other way and are extra careful about their diet compared to symptomatic coeliacs ( those who get gastric or bowel pain after gluten consumption ). In time , I would like to study both groups but for this study as it’s a small one I have just pitched the focus on the people who might find it difficult to resist temptation to eat gluten sometimes, and do end up eating gluten . If that is you, please don’t put that on here to protect your privacy , please email me on my university address m.mccarthy5@unimail.derby.ac.uk. Thanks for asking about it
