I tried a scone at our local Blue Diamond garden centre the other day, disaster, I wasn't too optimistic when I saw it, but decided to have a go and very carefully sliced it in half, crumbling to pieces, made the best of it with jam and cream.
Now our local Blue Diamond makes some delicious cakes on site including flourless options and they seem to sell a huge quantity of 'normal' ones but they need to think again on the GF ones.
It can be done with commercially made ones, M&S ones are pretty good.
