When posting messages that contain useful information please only use smilies at the start and end of the message to make it easier to copy it to the supplementary board. It is even more helpful if you post a copy of useful information on the supp board yourself.

The Beeches pub Posted by Bill D on 13/11/2022, 13:44:01 On a visit to the Midlands recently were recommended to try the Beeches in Ashby-de-la Zouch. Superb, separate GF menu, lots of choice, first time for years that I have had three courses. Would highly recommend for anybody in the area. Also very friendly staff. Only small complaint, they did not do any GF beer, had a cider, Inches of Hereford which was ok but not to my taste, prefer Thatchers Gold which is fairly local to where I live. Gave them a few tips on GF beers available. Bill D.

In contrast the Premier Inn at Ashby is more about just publishing an allergy list of items that just by chance are GF, this results in very few in reality and seem to get less every time we go, hence the reason for our visit to The Beeches.
