When posting messages that contain useful information please only use smilies at the start and end of the message to make it easier to copy it to the supplementary board. It is even more helpful if you post a copy of useful information on the supp board yourself.

Xmas day Posted by Steve on 12/12/2022, 20:31:24 That day is fast approaching, the day that cannot be ignored, the day when you live alone is so difficult to get thro'. I have just received a lunch invite from my sister for Xmas day which I have accepted. Sister does fully understand my Coeliac requirements so I will be totally safe on that regard. At least I will have some interaction with family. I sincerely hope that no one on this board will be spending Xmas day totally alone, I have in the past and its not nice.

Have experienced Xmas days alone in the past and it's very difficult, particularly when returning to work and people ask what you did! My thoughts are with anyone who will be on their own over the festive period. Best wishes to everyone on the board and here's hoping for a better year in 2023.
