When posting messages that contain useful information please only use smilies at the start and end of the message to make it easier to copy it to the supplementary board. It is even more helpful if you post a copy of useful information on the supp board yourself.

Tinned Beans & Sausages Posted by Christine (Bristol) on 7/9/2024, 10:24:07 Just thought I'd post a warning about tins of Heinz beans and sausages. The label has changed and so have the ingredients - they now contain wheat and soya. Supermarket own brands have always had wheat so I relied on Heinz as an easy last minute snack. Real shame but seems to be the trend recently, presumably cheaper and safer to produce. Ah well!

Heinz beans and sausage now contain Richmond sausages which are not gf. I managed to get some of the old style ones from Home and bargains. I have never seen any other beans and sausage that are gf, so if any one knows of any can they share the info please.

There are things that we used to buy, that are no longer suitable for my husband. We even have to check things in the Free From Section, in case they have now added oats in some form to the ingredients.
