Cyprus

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Cyprus with Jet2 at the Louis Paphos Breeze hotel. Stayed all inclusive and the restaurant is buffet style. The service is exceptional, all the dishes are well labelled with allergens and the choise was amazing. The Chef, Dimitrios, was extremely helpful and there was nothing that was too much trouble. GF bread and rolls were available, but he even sourced gf crackers (more Nairn’s flat breads) and gf bacon as their usual supplier handles gluten so not gf! He served gf brownies and almond cake (not Daim bar cake, but real almond cake) and on request plated meringues with cream for me. Always available to cook anything specific just for me – one night pasta and another chicken skewers. The hotel and location was amazing, but knowing I was being so well catered for made the holiday.

I’m glad you had a great holiday. I also had a great experience in Paphos, staying in The Alexandra the Great beach hotel. The head chef was fantastic and made sure there was dessert for me. I would go as far to say it was one of the best food experiences I’ve had gf. We went on 2 coach trip that included a stop at a restaurant for lunch, I was a little apprehensive but didn’t need to be. I had translation cards but most people spoke good English and I ate very well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
