Really sorry to hear this but it is understandable. As someone who doesn’t use Facebook etc this has been a great community to be a part of. The reviews of places to eat, the recipes for a decent scone, the list is endless.

My sincere thanks to each and every one of you that has contributed. We have seen some characters over the years, many sadly no longer with us, had a laugh at some terrible jokes, ranted at the wrong information stated in the media and kept ourselves company through COVID. We were lucky that someone had the foresight many years ago to set the board up.

I guess the next thing is to ensure I have stored all the recipes I need!

Thanks again all, best wishes for the future.

Ross

While it is very sad to hear the board is shutting down, I understand fully. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed, especially the admin team. I don’t know how I would have coped 16 years ago when I was first diagnosed. Best wishes to everyone and good luck for the future.

Thanks for letting us know Eileen, it's perfectly understandable.

I would like to thank all the Admin team, past and present, for their hard work in providing help and info over the years since I was first diagnosed in 2009 and feeling quite lost!!

All the very best to you and all the other contributors I have chatted to on the board, Cxx

Really sorry to hear this but have noticed the posting has become few and far between over the last little while. It was a great comfort for me in the early days after being diagnosed to find a community, and to able to ask questions
Thanks for everything 👋

Will be sorry to see. it go. I am sure it has been very helpful to both new and long standing coeliacs.
In saying that I am sure it must be time consuming for moderators
