I have searched high and low for this information and can't find what I need. I live in Florida, where sunlight is plentiful. What kind of light exposure is needed to get the needed amount for my green iguana? I am happy to move him inside at night, and outside during the day for natural exposure. Does it have to be direct sunlight, or can he just be outside where the sun is shining but not directly on him? I have a screened porch, so he is protected besides just in his cage, but I am afraid of overheating him in direct light, so I am hoping that just being on the porch where the sun will be on him directly only for a time later in the day will be enough.
