The curtain is great. But if he keeps bashing his snout you will have to pad his walls on the inside, to avoid costly vet visits. I had no success with bandaging iguanas' noses.
Some igs like their sex toys, and others don't. I assume it is green? You could try tying a string to it and, from 10 feet away, giggling it a bit to get his attention. But the string has to come off after every session, or he may swallow it.
All you can do is be sure he can't bite you or boss you around, give him more cage time, and wait him out. If he doesn't stalk or attack you, give him lots of out-of-cage time. Throw a beach towel over him to catch him.
