We have recently had our first kid, and our iguana Rex has suddenly become aggressive towards us and the baby. Due to this, we are no longer able to show him the love and attention he deserves. Rex has been a great pet and up until this point has had no known health or behavioral issues. He typically eats Collard Greens and frozen Green Beans, occasionally cabbage, veggies and cilantro as a special treat (this is his favorite). His current enclosure is a walk-in measuring approximately 5ft(L) x 5ft(W) x 7ft(H) |
Before we brought our baby home, he was calm, well tempered and happy to be handled. He has been well socialized with people and has never had any issues with our two small dogs. It is only since the birth of our baby, that he has become suddenly aggressive towards the entire family.
We hate to see him go, but know he will be a great pet for someone without any small children who has the patience to spend some time with him.
Here is a link to a small album of photos we have taken over the years. Rex's Album
