Hello my kids iguana tried to get out of its cage 3cwks ago i woke up and found him hanging out of his cage by his hips an legs. As a result 3 wks later its now black an just started oozing today and hes lost body weight 20 % over the last wk he is still aggressive and lets his tail whip hard so his power is still there but i need advise IVE CALLED 5 VETS NOBODY DOES THIS KIND OF PET SO FAR THE ONE THAT DOES IS OUT TILL MONDAY. 1-Should i leave him alone till monday or let him go in a warm tub to clean it out ?? Hydrogen peroxide to clean it. Neosporin ?? Any help plzz
One thing I know as an arborist is that having a taller cage with a natural trees for them to climb on will satisfy them so much that they will have no need to leave their cage, unless, of course, you under feed them. I hope that can help, coming from a tree service Winnipeg expert. Good luck!
