It is a Reminiscense, but the finish is smooth instead of guilloche. The pen marked the rebirth of Montegrappa as a manufacturer of quality pens. It came out in 1990 and it was inspired by a pen made in 1915. The original price was Italian Liras 290,000, or USD 265 at the time. Great nib. The gold plating can wear off with use. I have two: one is still as new for it was never used (!!!), the other shows patches of silver coming through the gold plating.
