... wish I knew what ink this is ...
Just recently got this burgundy Senator Regent. First of all, this is my first one in this color. The pen is very clean, with a super clear ink window (not tinted blue or green, just crystal clear). Now, if the story ended here, that would have been pretty good.
However, when I started to fill the pen with water, my intention was simply to see if the silicone (not cork) seal is still doing its job. But there must be so much dried ink inside the section for the water to "revive", that the completely clear ink window ended up looking like it's full of ink (see the photo).
I thought, "yeah, right.." and started scribbling. The ink came out instantly, dark and lovely without any hesitation. Still skeptical, I fully expected that it will become watery after just a few words.
Nope. It's been a few days now, it kept writing (and sketching) in this nice blue-black color with no sign of getting weaker. The Senator steel nib is also very, very nice, by the way.
Anyways, it's just a trivial thing, but I'm easily pleased.
