Threaded?
At no point was the brand of pen and/or convertor mentioned, but a number of pens, possibly growning number, are using threaded converters. I know the Leonardo pens do, partly because you can access the piston knob from a blind cap. In any event, the converter is partially shoved into the section and then threaded in place with a clockwise motion. If this were the case, they can hold pretty tight and it is possible it might break off if pulled. Using tweezers and rotating counter-clockwise might be in order. ~ Jon
