Today I heard an insistent knock on the front door, and luckily I answered. The mail(person) was there with a box in hand needing a signature (one day early b.t.w.) Inside, securely and very nicely packaged was the Arco Ogiva, "repaired" (I would say, adjusted) by The Pen Family at no cost to me other than the postage to them. It now writes very very nicely, keeping up no matter how fast I tried to scribble. Fortunately it's Friday so I had some free time right after work to ink it up.
Also, regarding the number 58/57. In looking back at the advertising for the pen, 58 were made so mine is 57 of 58.... it's engraved opposite of what we would expect.
