Charles' personal pen
The King's personal pen that he drew from his pocket looked like a Montblanc Solitaire Sterling Silver. I wouldn't expect Montblanc's to be hard starters, but the King wasn't taking any chances when he dipped the nib. The inkwells and pen tray were placed on that little table 180° wrong. They should have been closer to the audience, so Charles didn't have to reach over them or signal that they were in the way.
