Today is the last day of June, and that means there's just about a month until the DC Pen Show. Exhibitors like me look forward to seeing previous clients, other exhibitors, and finding new homes for their offerings. In my case, almost all are vintage, including fountain pens, ballpoints (yes, older ones are now 50--70 years old), and mechanical pencils. There is a great attraction to vintage writing implements, and I am looking forward to giving a little talk on Saturday of the Show about valuing vintage pens. Although the DC Show is huge, I hope a lot of you pen lovers will stop by to say hello. As usual, I plan to have a lot of half-priced vintage pens and pencils, and be able to do some quick pen repairs. See you then, Dave Silber, Noyesville Pens
