I am trying to use a different nib (dip pen nib, and not one, but several different ones) on a Nakaya.
I can't use the Nakaya feed because of its architecture. It only takes a short nib, and one that flares at the shoulders - like a Nakaya nib!
So I must use a different feed. Which I do (HR feeds), and the fit seems fine, but flow is inconsistent, with several feed/nib combinations.
Has anyone used successfully any different nibs on a Nakaya? Must the proposed feed have some sort of a "breather" part like the Nakaya feed? Has anyone tried a plastic feed from other modern pens that while it fits, it is not constructed like the Nakaya?
Any advise is welcome.
Thank you
Christos
