The show opened at 10 on Saturday and I was nearly the first one there.
I counted 4 empty tables in the entire room. The rest were packed with vendors so the missing tables weren't really noticed.
Attendance seemed good in spite of the beautiful warm and sunny weather.
Lots of knowledgeable vendors there with great collections: Jonathan Veley, Mike Krut, Jerry Rosenthal, Jerry Adair, Myk Daigle, Bob Everett, Eric Fonville, Ralph Stillwell, and so many others.
I kept my spending down this year picking up only a few oddball items like a Baignol Tank 400 with the original box, paperwork, and full complement of 4 spare barrels.
I did get a few questions answered that have eluded answers for a number of years. Shows are a really great place to fill those information gaps. The internet is great but nothing beats an in-person interaction - and the best is when someone responds to your mystery pen with "Hey, I think I've seen that before, that's a ...".
I think the show has improved over the last few years so I'll definitely be going back next year.
