Re: Stub, italic, calligraphic, really flexy nibs
The nuns used up my cursive credits penitentially many years ago, and although I practice weekly, I find myself 'speed printing' to get my ideas down on paper before I lose my train of thought. Making my cursive legible - with any nib - slows me down. I find flex nibs provide just the right amount of satisfying 'bounce' when I'm repeatedly applying the nib to the paper. I totally agree with Len about writing with the arm - especially with any italic.
