In the meantime, as a regular regimen when you change inks you should always repeatedly flush with a good detergent, keep expelling the water/ink until it empties clear. The method, even used by the service department at Parker Pen Co was to use a mixture of water and their detergent of choice.... a few drops of Formula 409.
This adds a lubricant to the inside walls of the sac or filler the feed and under the nib. With added fluid lubrication on all parts you have less ink adhesion, thus less clogging. Hope this helps, in the meantime.
