I was recently informed that Margaret Kinke, wife of Fred Kinke owner of the Fountain Pen Shop in Los Angeles, passed away on May 10 from cancer. She was 90 years old. Many of you who attended the Los Angeles pen show will remember Margaret as the cashier for the FPS while at the show. Fred and Margaret were inseparable for as long as I knew them; she accompanied Fred to the show each year, and also to meetings of the California Pen Collectors Club, the local hobbyist group.
