Friends,

On another forum in a galaxy far away, someone asked the question: "why can't I log into www.newpentrace.net anymore?"

I suggested they ask over here, but so far no one has, so *I* will! It appears the domain was not registered on it's due date of July 11, 2025, and I can't tell if the original owner has simply abandoned it or sold it or ?? It does appear possible the domain has been bought and is 'parked' and can't be used.

The bottom line is that I know there is a complicated history in all of this, before my time and something I could never keep track of. But if any of you who are both long-timers and part of the operating online Pentrace group (i.e. you can administer the site)... it any of you could shed some light that would be helpful.

I had long ago read all of the content on the original 'home page', which is what I believe newpentrace.net represented; it seemed like nothing ever got posted there, and all I ever keep links to are the message boards. I wish there was more traffic, but I just check every month or two to see what is going on. There is a big fountain pen world out there, possibly more active than I've seen in years, but it is not reflected in traditional message boards / forums, for the most part.
