Yes, the suggested retail price sounds unsustainable to me. I got an almost 40% discount over the EU retail price, and that makes it very reasonably priced.

My two biggest complaints:
- the cap rotates too easily when the pen is closed
- the clip doesn't look and feel as nice as it should be

Someone could complain that only a (smooth!) Medium nib is available, but for me personally that's not a concern.

You would never mistake this pen for a Sheaffer Legacy I (let alone a PFM).
But I applaud the fact that they brought back the inlaid nib, and that it writes very well out of the box (looking at you, modern Parker!).
