It has been a difficult year but I am determined to make strides to invigorate Pentrace and help stimulate more participation from our international audience. My mission is to save 25 years of great content, much of which is on our Home Page. (Not accessible right now).

A most devastating event was the passing of our dear friend Giovanni Abrate. The domain name pentrace.com was suddenly snagged when it expired. Giovanni created the new domain name newpentrance.net. Most unfortunate I did not get the passwords to the web host and domain provider. Never got calls or emails to Giovanni's email and phone. Whoever was handling his estate never replied. The entities I eventually uncovered, domain provider, web host have never replied either after repeated contacts.

Our Pentrace Boardhost claims they do not provide services other than board edits. I am very upset I have not been able to restore our Pentrace Home Page.

My heartfelt appreciation to our many participating members, old and new. I encourage you to jump in and participate, send us your comments and news, pen show and new product reviews, repair questions and comments on anything in our pen world.

I hope to have some success to resolve these issues and will keep you advised.
