Today the sad news was delivered to me by folks from his church who managed to unlock his phone and see that I had called him several times during the past two weeks, to no avail. Our dear pentracer and pen fancier, author, person of many talents and interests, and one of my closest Indian friends, Sid is no more. He died on March 5, and he was discovered by friends the following day. An obituary is being prepared with my assistance, will link to it when that happens. Cause of death is unknown, but he had many medical issues latterly, and one may hope his passing was not a painful one.
