Thanks, Ron. I bought it out of desperation because there was no way I could get my Parker frontier to flow, and nib disassembly seemed not possible. The cleaner did its job and now the pen writes like a dream! I have been subjecting pens regularly to it now and every one writes better than it did before.

I did ruin my eyeglasses though… it caused small cavitation bubbles to develop in the coating on the lower part of the lens, but it is my beater pair so I did not cry much over it.

Like you I intuited the water must be regular as it warms up in the 5 minutes in the cleaner. I add a bit of dish soap each time I use it.

It is not good to be used on caps. I thought it would remove the stain on the inner cap. It just put more moisture there.
