Replica or not... a discussion we had before in connection with this thing:

Regarding the price some people may have thought it was Cartier (at least before the alterations).
It is very similar to Queen Elisabeth of Belgium iconic tiara, (https://royal-magazin.de/belgium/cartier-tiara-belgium-queen-elisabeth-reine-belges-belgique-diamond-arcantus-leaf-diadem.htm) but is much smaller (14,5 cm inner diameter). Some elements are smaller like the diamonds inside the scrolls, some are missing.
However, it is much more identical to the chinese piece.
Certainly, Cartier as every other jeweller has used one draft for several pieces (exept maybe JAR) and I guess there were many ladies interested in a smaller (and more affordable) version of a queen`s tiara, especially if there was no danger to meet her in person.
In the end it was business.
I would say Cartier made similar pieces. The Queen’s had more details and was bigger. Brigitte is a big Cartier collector.
I would say it is a replica.
They really look the same.
The tiara owned by Brigitte Lin was made in 1919. Looks similar to Queen Elisabeth of Belgium’s tiara except much smaller.
This tiara was made in 1906. According to the owner Carina Lau, she had always been looking for a valuable tiara and when she saw this one she immediately bought from an auction. She wouldn’t disclose the price.
