Maybe this is the photograph Maria Olivia was thinking of:
If so, it is actually the Queen wearing the Order of the Redeemer and the King wearing the Order of the Elephant (together with many of his other Orders).
At the wedding itself, however, the King did indeed wear the Sash of the Order of the Redeemer.
Another way to distinguish the Sash of the Order of the Redeemer from the one of the Order of the Elephant is that although pale blue like the Order of the Elephant it is edge by thin white lines. Those can be very difficult to spot sometimes though, especially when the person is wearing white clothes.
Most orders are worn from right to left - as is the light blue band of the Greek Order of the Redeemer.
The Danish Order of the Elephant is worn the other way around, however, from left to right.
Both orders are very similar in colour, light blue. I suspect therefore, that pictures you have seen from the 1964 pre-wedding ball shows King Constantine wearing the Redeemer, and Queen Anne Marie wearing the Elephant. But I couldnīt locate any pictures myself to confirm this.
The dark blue sash you have seen is the Greek Order of Saints Olga and Sofia, awarded to women only. There is a similar order in the same colours awarded to men, the Order of Saints George and Constantine. Both have dark blue sashes with withe edges. Crown Prince Pavlos sometimes wears the small chain of the Order of Saints George and Constantine
There is some more on the Greek orders here:

Thanks a lot Kongetro.
The Sashes of Order of the Redeemer and the Order of the Elephant are light blue . On wich way are they worn ?? I saw a picture of Princess Anne Marie and King Constantine at their Pre Wedding Ball , both wore light blue Sashes but not on the same way ?
Crown Princess Marie Chantal and others wore a dark blue Sash , I presume a lower Order ?
The highest Greek Order is that of the Order of the Redeemer. The Sash and Breast Star of this Order had been placed on one of the cushions in front of the coffin. Also on this cushion could be seen the second highest Greek Order; that of the Order of Saints George and Constantine.
Together with the Danish Order of the Elephant was also insignias of the Order of Dannebrog.
When on the subject of the Orders worn at the funeral (there were a few); the three sons of the late King all wore the pin of the Order of the Redeemer. King Carl XVI Gustaf also seemed to be wearing a pin, but it didn't look like the Order of the Seraphim, nor the Order of the Redeemer. Has anybody managed to identify the pin?
We saw yesterday :
The Royal Order of St George whose Grand Master is now Crown Prince Pavlos.
The Royal Order of the Elephant (Denmark).
The two collars are light bleue but for the Greek one from left to right and the Dane from right to left? The Collar of the Golden Fleece of the Spanish Order whose Grand master is King Felipe. We saw. yesterday the 2 Kings wearing the Golden Fleece.
King Emeritus Juan Carlos wore a smaller one. The late King Danish Order and the Collar of the Golden Fleece have to return to the Orders .
