I know United States presidents themselves never attended the coronations of British monarchs but there were some Americans attending as special ambassadors at those coronations. Therefore, I am sure someone will be selected to represent the U.S.A. at the current coronation of King Charles III, but either President Biden would break the tradition by attending there himself or continue the tradition of sending someone in the role of special ambassador.
I was not able to find the evidence of anyone from the United States to be present at the coronation of Queen Victoria.
CORONATIONS OF THE FOLLOWING....
KING EDWARD VII
**Whitelaw Reid in the role of a special ambassador to be present there.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II
All 4 people served in the role of special ambassadors at the coronation.
**George C. Marshall (special ambassador and personal representative for President Eisenhower)

**Omar N. Bradley, then retired General of U.S. Army (special ambassador and personal representative for President Eisenhower)

**Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court from 1953 to 1969 (just a special ambassador)

**Fleur Fenton Cowles, U.S. writer, editor, and artist for the magazine called Flair (just a special ambassador)

So following these examples above, there is likely that someone will be sent as a special ambassador rather than President Biden. Unless he breaks this tradition by attending there himself.......
In addition through National Archives in Washington, D.C., here's the link to these unclassified information about the U.S. representation at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

I am sure there was no one from America attending the coronations of King George IV and King William IV because it probably was too soon after the American Revolutionary War was over.
