You make some excellent suggestions here! The Dutch royals have opted to convert several necklaces to tiaras and with great succes! The diamond bandeau and the Sapphire necklace tiara come to mind. Making frames to mount the diamond necklaces is relatively easy and affordable. Go Mary! 😜
