A few days ago, on 17th July, King Charles III presided over the State Opening of Parliament, at Westminster Palace, with all the usual pageantry.

In replies to this message, I will make a focus on the jewels worn by Queen Camilla, her ladies-in-waiting (or 'Queen's Companions', as they are now styled) and some of the peeresses.
