As revealed by Vincent Meylan and Carol Woolton, the Anglesey Diamond Négligé is going on Auction at Sotheby’s in Geneva in November. An heirloom of the Marquesses of Anglesey for over a century and a half, it is believed that the Négligé may be a part of the legendary Collier de La Reine at the heart of the ‘Affair of the Diamond Necklace’ and the subsequent French Revolution.
