As for her wearing the bandeau; I have in my notes that she also might have worn it at the State Banquet for the Portuguese president in 1989. I could be wrong, because I don't have any conclusive evidence (a clear photo or similar). This morning I have tried to do a google search to see if I could find a photo from the event but without any luck.
