The Queen, the Crown Princess and the Princesses all looked stunning last night. I was worried that they would all forego the tiaras and dress in black due to the passing of Princess Birgitta. Maybe this was the reason why we did not see Princess Christina at the ceremony and banquet - I missed her being there. And the King and Princes looked all very dapper in their white-tie and Orders.

As for Princess Sofia and her tiara; I don't think those are Sapphires. I believe it is the dark blue London topazes we saw her wear at the State Banquet for the Finnish president earlier this year.
