The dispersement of royal jewels in especially Belgium is tragic but the result of family dynamics, wealth decline and sheer recklessness. It was wonderful to see that Mathilde received a versatile piece from the Belgian aristocracy for her wedding to Filip. In Monaco Albert should not have bothered to commission jewels for his wife. The pieces are absolutely ghastly and Charlene never wears them. Which I understand perfectly

. The good stuff is owned by Caroline. Although some sources claim the pearl tiara and the diamond flower wreath are (now) actually the property of Albert. Anyway.

Sofia brought 2 tiaras she got as Wedding gifts. the prusiian triara and the floral tiara. And she alsp got the shell tiara as Wedding gift but that was already in the Fanmily as she got it from her parents-in-law Previous Message
The actual Queens, Sofia, Sonia and Maria Teresa did not bring jewels in the Vault of their Husband 's Country. They are wearing them on a perfect way and the Vaults I hope will remain how they are.
The Belgian Royal Vault has nearly nothing. We lost some Queen Elisabeth jewels sold by Queen Marie José , her Daughter and Princess Lilian.
If Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte should have known that her personal belgian Royal jewels should have been sold at an Auction , she should give them back to Belgium .
Queen Fabiola's Spanish tiara and personal aigue marines necklace and pendant are in Spain.
Lucky ,the German Royals are keeping their tiaras for their Weddings.
The Reigning Royal Houses of the Past have alas nearly no grand jewels anymore.
