I totally agree. I love a Royal Rainbow Trousseau. Amethyst, Topaz, Citrine, Turquoise, Opal, Peridot etc jewels often have so much more character! I wonder which Royal House has the biggest variety in their Rainbow Trousseau?

I like seeing other colored stones besides the Big Three (sapphires, rubies, emeralds). I think it makes for more interesting pieces.
