I know it was used by Queen Camilla for her Coronation in 2023, with the paste Koh-i-Noor replaced by the Cullinan V brooch as centrepiece (just like Queen Mary herself had done in 1937 for her son George VI's Coronation), the paste Cullinan III and IV replaced by the original ones, and four of the eight arches removed. But all of the eight arches of this crown have always been removable, as Queen Mary herself frequently wore her crown as a coronet, without the arches.
Has this crown (indeed a beautiful one) been since then dismantled, or severely altered???

I concur about Queen Mary's Crown. It needed no alteration, being utterly elegant and perfect as it was.
Plus ca change...

Good to see you here.
Together we mourn the loss of Queen Mary's crown.
It was the most elegant of all British crowns.
I wonder what is on display in the Tower. Does anyone know?
