I agree the King won’t be giving jewels, but perhaps money because that’s what they love anyway.

Harry will not receive anything from his grandmother’s jewels if he hasn t already. It is up to Charles and why would he give anything to a Californian B celebrity couple he has not seen in years and who have no sense of history or values. Paste jewels would be my best advice. They would not notice anyway. So much easier to care for/ Just put them in the dishwasher after use and hang them out to dry in the californian sun.

Indeed. It's to be expected that Harry will get something, jewellery-wise, when the day comes. But I doubt it will be significant pieces of the Collection.
But I assume William is aware of the importance of the collection and will with Catherine take advantage of it. He knows that the right presentation is everything. And the tradition must be continued. On the other hand, downsizing is to be expected. The jewellery collection probably contains a lot of values that are rather dead capital from a modern point of view.

If we take him at his own word Harry never set foot in his grandmother's dressingroom in Buckingham Palace so probably never saw any of her jewels other than the once she wore at events he attended or saw images of.
I must say that part of me is quite baffled by all of this. I hope William got a better insight into the Royal and private collections he will one day inherit and will have to take care off.

Prior to his wedding I suspect that the only tiaras which Harry knew about were the ones which HM or his late mother wore publicly. I rather doubt he'd been given a tour of the vaults ar any point.
