Do we know how long they owned it? I sometimes wonder about the "historical" aspect of some of these jewels. Like, Princess Margaret bought the Politmore tiara, named for its previous owner, whose family owned it for many more years than she did (IIRC). It was "historical" only because it had been owned by a princess.
