If the jewels from Queen Elisabeth, Queen Astrid and Queen Fabiola had been put in a trust or foundation they would have had a fantastic collection. Especially if they had added the pieces Queen Marie-José inherited from her Belgian relatives.
they would have had several grand diamond pieces and sets in emerald, aquamarine, turquoise and pearls. No not a collection to rival those of the UK, the Netherlands, Sweden or Luxembourg but impressive enough to keep up with Norway, Denmark or Spain.
