For the second evening of the State Visit to Suriname the Queen opted for a Sari and various diamond and emerald jewels. The necklace comes from the parure created by Jeweller Schurmann in Frankfurt in 1897. From various jewels and stones - the emeralds were said to have belonged to Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia - Schurmann created a delicate parure. Both the tiara and necklace have a very unique design and can be altered. A very versatile set of jewels.
