Our Generation Story of lost jewels will endly stop with Queen Paola's jewels.
We all hope the deco tiara for Princes Elisabeth. Princess Astrd and Claire each a necklace.
Carlo the half moon earrings were her engagement present from Princess Lilian.

I have always been a great fan of Princess Paola of Liege, then H.M. Queen Paola of the Belgians.
What a pity that her jewel collection is so small, and it lacks completely of colour stones such as emeralds, sapphires and rubies. She only has a single flower brooch with a fine central ruby.
Her diamonds necklaces would be fine for a young princess, certainly not for a Queen. She doesn’t have a single pair of important diamonds earrings. Even with the Nine Provinces diamond tiara, she wore nearly all the time her half loop stud pearl & diamond earrings.
