Absolutely agree with you.
Altough stunning this present version is dificult to balance and place at a proper angle in the head, it looks a bit lowered back and tilted.
It always makes me think of a Gothic cathedral 
But it is one of my favourite royal pearl tiaras, so beautiful.

I am still waiting for the lesser known setting of the Ornate Pearl Tiara: with the upright pearls BETWEEN the scrolls. Beatrix wore it like that many moons ago. I think it will look splendid! It will give the tiara more body. Courtesy Royal Watcher

And unfortunately in a dress that is too long (or the heels she is wearing with it too low) and the sleeves are too big. Not a flattering outfit on her.
She has worn the ornate pearl tiara a number of times with the pearls on the top prongs it would be nice if she started wearing it with all the pearls on top.
I do like the 5 row pearl necklace a lot but im looking forward to some more imaginative use of the jewels by Amalia and her sisters. Maxima seems to have settled in her ways when it comes to the grand jewels of the House. Previous Message

TM the King and Queen of the Netherlands will host a state banquet for the incoming State Visit from Finland tonight. According to the Royal House website the royal couple and the Princess of Orange will attend. So two tiaras for tonight.
It would be nice if we saw the Princess of Orange for the first time in the aquamarine tiara. Her mother wore aquamarine earrings for the receiving ceremony on Dam square.
For Maxima im actually hoping she'll finally wear the ears of wheat as a tiara or the bandeau a la Grecque. She more likely is going to wear the sapphire tiara again or possibly the Stuart in the smaller setting she wore in Luxembourg.
