I don't know if Princess Irene decided something for her two tiaras.

I believe in the UK that was called the Greek tradition where mothers leave the bulk of their jewels to sons and expect their daughters to receive jewels from their son-in-law and his family. Princess Marina left most of her pieces to her two sons her daughter Alexandra got a few diamond flowers. Alexandra's husband used those flowers to create the beautiful tiara she owns.
In Frederika's case she wanted her successor to have enough pieces to shine as the new Queen and by the time she died her oldest daughter had the Spanish crown jewels at her disposal and her younger daughter was living a very private life so did not need much grand jewels.
Had the situation in Greece been different and had princess Irene been higher up in the line of succession with her own descendants Frederika might have made different choices.

Queen Frederika , royal greatest jewel lover did not give a lot to her Daughters. Sapphire and Ruby parure to Queen Anne Marie but not her great tiara which is worn now by Marie Chantal.

The circle tiara she loaned in the 1980's to her niece Infanta Elena for the pre-wedding ball of the Bavaria-Wurtemberg wedding.
I always assumed she also inherited the diamond and pearl tiara/necklace. It's never been seen on anyone else or in any auction that i know off.
Her closeness to her sister Sofia would lead to the idea that she or her children might inherit these pieces but i believe the princess was the godmother to prince Nikolaos and that makes him another candidate to inherit one of her bigger pieces.

She had still the circle tiara she wore much in her youth and last time in the 1980's in the UK.
Not sure about the convertible pearl necklace which she also often wore as a tiara

Sad news!
She seemed very modest.
Do we know what major jewels she had from her mother?
If any?

In memory of a most extraordinary royal lady who devoted her entire life to promote the wellfare of all living criatures.
My toughts go to her loved ones, specially her beloved sister Queen Sofia who, with the recent passing of Pss Tatiana Radziwill, lost two sisters in a few weeks time.
HRH Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark's jewels
