Thank you for this information about the flood brooch. Its an unknown piece for me.
Have we seen Queen Margrethe also with this piece? I can't remember.

The Danish King and Queen began their State Visit to Estonia today and hopefully we will see a tiara at the State Banquet this evening. Estonia has normally stuck to the white-tie dress code for these occasions, so if that is still the case for tonight we will see - probably - a smaller tiara on the Queen and hopefully the King in uniform with his Orders.
Already at the welcoming ceremony the Queen delighted us with wearing yet another precious item from the Royal collection: the Sapphire brooch that once belonged to King Frederick VI's consort, Queen Marie Sophie Frederikke, also known as the Flood Sapphire.
