1. Why did Princess Margaret never received the Garter: it was generally given to reigning (foreign) queens only. British queens didn't receive it until Queen Alexandra, and then Mary and Elizabeth followed. Giving to it other princesses/royal duchesses was quite a break from tradition.

2.Why did Princess Michael and the past Duchess of York never received the Family Order. Who knows? It's considered a mark of the giver's esteem, so we can read what we want into the fact that those ladies didn't receive it.

3.The actual Duchess of Goucester received the Garter. She will be the very last for the moment. I bet Charles will give it to Catherine.

4. For William Generation , Peter and Zara, Beatrix and Eugenie, louise and James will not be working Royals and seen at Official glittering events. Don't rule James and Louise out yet!
