It would be great if they restored the stomacher to it's original form as im not a big fan of the brooch it was turned into.
I actually like the necklace this way almost but not completely a mirror image of the tiara.
The only other set like that was Queen Wilhelmina's diamond and sapphire wedding present that was broken up.

And this time to perfection with the right dress to allow the mirrored necklace to sparkle freely and a better hairdo that compliments the tiara. Maxima was also wearing two bracelets. One wrap bracelet with rubies possibly from Queen Sophie and one from Queen Emma ( Mellerio). Earrings also from the Mellerio parure. This is the only parure in the collection with a mirrored necklace. In Japan this seems standard attire for royal ladies. In Eurorope less common these days. Such a combination requires the right dress and that has been a challenge sometimes but last night she nailed it (again). Previous Message
