In the photos from 2024 and 2026, you can see quite clearly that both gowns are now new. Queen Camilla’s train is now square at the end and no longer as long. King Charles III’s train now features large black ermine patches on the upper white section, rather than just dots as before, and both trains now have a fresh red colour, with the gold embroidery really shining. Unlike the old ones the inner lining is of white silk but not of ermine. The king has worn for his coronation and previous openings of parliament the robes of his grandfather. Camilla until last year wore those of her mother-in-law. Johan - are you able to provide a source for that information about the robes for the King and Queen please?
